Kael'Thas 5 boxable @ 85 - Ashes of Al'ar farming

I can now confirm that he's 5 boxable. I started farming him a few weeks ago with 2 guildies and they weren't on tonight. I concluded that I needed to bring a shammy for staff buff. It took me 4 attempts before I finally got him.

Group make up was DK tank, 3 rets and ele shammy.

First part is very easy. I found it a little easier to pull the mage way away from group so that explosions don't knock you everywhere during phase 3. After you kill weapons, get the staff and equip and buff your team with it using shammy, then get close to mage, but just outside of aoe range. As soon as mage is up, pop wings and destroy him as he's the biggest threat. you'll still get a few knockbacks so make sure to reapply staff buff from shammy. This phase is tank and spank.

Phase 4 is the real bitch and it's totally random as he'll be MCing 2 of yours guys periodically. What I found is try and keep your tank topped off as much as possible so in the event he gets MC'd, you'll live through it. Try to interrupt pyroblast whenever you can.

If you get him to 50%, then welcome to phase 5 and then it's almost entirely tank and spank.
