Talent Tree Discussion

I'm going to throw this out there for three Elemental Shaman. (also running resto shaman and prot pala)

(One Shaman has Totemic Wrath)

It is probably similar to some cookie cutter builds, but with slight alterations that I hope suit multiboxing said group.

I'm thinking the damage/magic reduction will help with things like AOE and loose mobs. I never see a need for Earthquake - plus I don't use mouse broadcasting.

The passive healing of the healing stream totems can be boosted in both healing others and received heals - so spark of life seems like a good one too.

Any thoughts?

Earthquake would be useful in interrupting healer packs if you didnt CC them, but other than that... ya kind of worthless. I basically have the same spec as you.

edit: oh wait I see you didnt take the lightning shield talent... do you not use fulmination? Also the shamans shouldnt have threat issues so I dont much see the point of the other talent. I would rather they all have Totemic Wrath just in case the one with the talent died.

Yea I ummed and arred over the lightning shield talent, I will rethink that - and yes I think I might take the totemic wrath as you say - occasionally the totem grabs aggro and dies :(

When the shaman dies who has Totemic Wrath you can always reincarnate. Besides that when you lose a char the chances you don't wipe decrease by quite a lot?

I'm not all to sure about my specs, don't think I have 4 totemic wraths. I definitely don't have Earthquake either.

I think you mean increase, but actually my healer and tank can survive a long time, as long as there is no enrage timer.

Earthquake has it's uses in 10man raids... Magmaw, Maloriak, etc..

But for a boxing build I don't spec it... My pvp build doesn't even take rolling thunder, fulmination, or earthquake... Class balance working as intended.

I´m not sure what you mean by that. But looking at it from a solo player´s perspective, Fullmination is must have for pve. Earthquake has it´s uses.

I really don´t see why those talents wouldn´t work as intended? They don't for a boxer who has PVP as focus. That's probably 0,01% of the total players who play a shaman.

Your armory has earthquake for the elemental specs, what is the spec your doing pvp with?
