Shockadins in BGs

I'm normally the very last person to suggest that healing specs should be stacked up in PvP situations... But...

It looks like Shockadins have some potential to be extremely hardy and still do some OK dps at 85. With consecrates to punish any melée and eye for an eye to whittle away on casters, this team could hang in there for a long time. Holy Shock is instant cast, which I think would be good to weave in heals with damaging attacks.

I dunno, it seems like they might work. Might be a good way to resurrect the 4xRet pally component of my old melée team.

Anyone played one at 85 or have converted their pally team to this build??

many of us have played it at 80 since 4.01 when we started this conversation, and you should look for those threads. its fun, but not nearly as good as a single person on a single holy pally is.

I started to get mine some shockadin gear, but after grinding some heroics and bgs in ret to farm gear, I came to the conclusion that this team is still very much alive in ret.

Acts of sacrifice makes it very hard to be kited. I've been doing round robins on my freedoms on my DK, and finding it that it works very well. I've been playing with a few different specs, and so far, I'm using Eternal Glory over Arbiter of the Light as the extra heals you get are amazing. When ever I need to heal one or two of my team members, there is almost always enough HP between all my members to top them off, and the hit in DPS isn't that noticeable.

Ya. playing all 5, rets are still the way to go. Many combos/options could come alive when we can play 4 + 1 healer. But if to play all 5, dk + rets makes the most sense with the mega healing.

I am gonna try out frost dk lead over blood. and Hopefully heroic won't be too tough for us at level 85.
