The ThermalRight Ultra-120 is what I've been using the last couple of years on my CPUs. Very efficient so far and do a superb job.

[edit] Worth noting that you can use any good 120mm fan on it. I used a Scythe ultra-quiet model and have had great performance with it.

+1 For the TRUE as well from my corner. Also, the push/pull setup of 2 fans will not "double" your cooling power, it may not even have any real effect on your setup at all. I have nothing to back up this statement except for my good looks.

More proof that certain heatsinks are designed for profit (i.e.: Oooohh...Shiny!) and not necessarily efficiency. ;)
Because both fans are the same size and noise I doubt if you will hear any difference in overall loudness, unless the amplitude waves are synced which is almost impossible.Quote:

I would assume that a push pull of two fans would have more total cfm then a single fan. Would not two move more air past the fins then one?
I guess to many other factors are at work is see a resonable increase is cfm .... seems odd but I guess there is not a lot of difference in total cooling.

I guess the one you are using the thermalright is just as good so whichever ....
Maybe the only reason to use 2 is that if one fails you are still ok ....
I picked up a Corsair H50 liquid cooling unit for my alternate rig a few months back. It keeps very stable temps for a Q6600 @ 3.6GHz below 60*C. Cant remember how much exactly though.
And the unit is completely self contained, no maintenance reqd.
I haven't tried changing the fan yet (alt box and all), but I imagine a decent yate loon or similar fan would do better still.
