Really missing the ability to lock an opponent in spot with frozen power, then wail on them with nukes cuz they cant get away :mad:
Still considering using frost shock on my main while the other 3 cast flameshock. If I stick with the 45% crit on my toons in place of mastery, it shouldn't drop my damage with Lava burst by too much.
I've contemplated specing my main as enhance for both frozen power and shamanistic rage to help when they focus fire him.
Aha, I have it!
Don't go Enhance on a toon, your DPS will plummet, and all your cast times will be off.
Instead, glyph frost shock instead of lava burst (or flameshock if you actually have that glyph), on just your main toon. Replace Flamshock with frost shock on your main, and never use flameshock. With the glyph, you can keep the snare up for twice as long as the cooldown on shocks, which means you can do a Frostshock->nukes->Earthshock->Nukes->Frost shock rotation

I think your Rockbiter+Frost Shock defensive lead shammy idea is pretty decent. I'm curious if L85 PvP will be effective with this setup.
I'm also curious if a nice 4xHealing Rains combo will mean that we will not have to worry too much about playing as defensively when swarmed. I typically see the waves of 5-6 people coming in advance, so I can imagine plopping down 4 rains might give us even more survivability in dealing with those situations...
yea 4x healing rain looks pretty good, but spirit walkers grace to heal while chasing/ running away should help too. I don't imagine we boxers will have too much trouble landing killing blows in Cata, so I imagine the CD to cast on the move will be for escaping+heal
Unleash elements will also add another snare, and improve frost shocks snare when used. Since the slaves will be casting Unleash Elements before lava burst to buff its damage by 20%, there will definitely be room for the main toon to use it to slow the target down even further (it will stack with Frost Shock's snare! )

I dont understand Budkin. How does that melee spec work with Elemental slaves at all? If you're casting nukes with the slaves, your cast times would be all off, so I'm guessing you're just using the melee abilities? Or is the main toon only using shock and dropping totems?

Oh, re-checking what I posted about Unleash Elements, somehow I missed that it will require Frostbrand weapon applied, so regardless, one toon will be out by the spellpower bonus. The snare effect will scale by 50% with talents, and it's supposed to stack with the Frost shock snare, so 50% from shock times 50% times 1.5 for unleash elements, and we should be seeing a target at 12.5% movement speed :O
Better yet would be one toon casting frost shock while a different one casted unleash elements, and boom, instant, near-root effect. Welcome back to wrath's frozen power !!>!!!!
EDIT: The talent apparently only makes the damage from Unleash elements 50% higher, it doesn't increase the effectiveness of the snare. Even still, unleash elements WILL stack with Frost Shock, so I can still snare to 25% movement speed :)
