Another 72 hour suspension...

Well, I received a 72 hour suspension last night for "Exploitative Activity: Use of Third Party Automation software" on 4 of my 5 wow accounts. I'm assuming it was from some idiot gm who had no idea what he was doing. I called billing and explained what I was doing and how I was doing it, where they informed me the quickest way was to submit a ticket in game and explain what I was doing. I have to say I'm quite annoyed, especially with the 24-48 hour ticket times at the moment to once again play the accounts I pay for :P I'll post again if they inform me about any changes in their multiboxing stance or is they now consider IsBoxer a bannable/suspendable third party software. But once again I'm assuming it's some moron who doesn't know how to do his job correctly. I've seen a couple of threads similar to this one and wanted to let people know that this is still happening even though I've been multiboxing for over two years now.

This comes up quite often, its not a software sweep from warden that is causing the ban, but in game activities that are automated or perceived as automated. Perception is everything, people that flaunt exploit like and bot like behavior of course are going to get reported. It really only takes a crew of people to mass report someone for anything and there is your suspension.

It seems to happen more often lately. I might never resubscribe to WoW if they have so many idiot GMs.

You can cancel your accounts and cite shoddy GM work as the reason you are unsubscribing. I would also highly suggest anyone who hasn't done so to submit a GM ticket reporting yourself as a multiboxer, and politely ask them to flag your accounts so that if someone else does report you, you have a pre-emptive line of defense set up.

I will ask my buddy if i can have you e-mail him to get the suspension lifted right away. I sent him a text message so we'll see when he responds if you don't have it dealt with already.

A trick to getting your tickets answered earlier. In your ticket report that there are body gold spammers in orgrimar/stormwind.

I reported myself when I first start playing and requested GMs to add a note to my account that I was multiboxing and using legitimate software. Have never had problems since. I get checked in on every 3-4 months by a GM who usually shows up to chat and verify that I'm legitimate.

I've had a few GMs ask for more info on multiboxing, because they want to try it themselves. I've always referred them here...

They already reactivated my accounts. I e-mailed them earlier today, which was much quicker than waiting for a GM ticket, and got my accounts back about 6 hours later. I didn't think there would be any issues, it was just annoying.

You can also mention "stuck" in many forms / fashion in your ticket. Can help to get your ticket moved to the head of the que.

Guys, please. Unless there really are body-gold-spammers in org or your characters are actually stuck and cannot move (i.e. glitched/bugged specifically) then please refrain from "faking" a condition just to get your ticket addressed sooner. That just makes you look like a jackass who's cutting in line because you don't want to wait on the process that everyone else with legitimate complaints is stuck waiting on, too. And makes us look bad as a community when you suggest others do it.

Yes, I know it's BS that you got banned by mistake but it doesn't serve as a valid excuse for douchebaggery. As for why it still happens, GMs come and go and the new ones may not be avid gamers or even know what multiboxing is.

No, I didn't say "fake" stuck. It's as sipmle as something as the following.

"I don't know why you guys stuck me with a 72 suspension. That it is really lame and now I can't do anything. I mean are other players getting stuck with a suspensions for doing nothing? What is wrong with me moving multiple characters around and them all sticking together doing the same stuff? I can't believe I cant do anything, I can't even play or move servers now, I am stuck here with frozen account and I am not able to do anything with my player"
