How can I remove frames/run smaller than 800x600?

I setup 2 new f2p accounts to complement my main paid sub to LOTRO. Long term, I'd like to 6 box.

I started working on a HKN script last night to get my 3 boxing show on the road. I hit snag when I could not resize the slave windows below 800x600. I also was unable to remove the frames and title bar of the lotro windows. Is this a limitation of HKN or lotro? I'm pretty sure I've vids of ISboxer with smaller windows. What other boxing software accomplish this? Is there a magic incantation I'm not using in HKN?

I love the combo of free + full customization of HKN, but I might be willing to try out other software. I'm a tweaker at heart and don't mind putting in the effort. I managed to work around this problem last night by having a 1900x600 window for my main, and two 900x600 windows for my slaves, and just dealt with the main covering up the top ~176 pixels of my salves When I move to 6 boxing, I can attach a 2nd monitor, but its only 1680x1050 =/

I too come from the HKN arena. I have developed extensive scripts for my teams to best cycle skills, toggle through appropriate ones, and handle movement. It is the last point that, since I created three F2P accounts to compliment my three Lifer accounts, that led me to seek an alternative solution. While I could do anything I wanted with having one client installed on three separate systems, placing two or more on one made movement (short of solely using /follow) an impossibility.

Since LotRO requires the window to have focus when receiving "continual key holding actions", having more than one client running on a single system meant that only one could have focus. The default Alt-Tab'ing action of HKN meant you woudk only get a jitter of movement at best (and usually only on one of the instances).

After chatting with TheKeeperofTime a bit, and reading up on the site, I felt that a move to test out Inner Space with ISBoxer was warranted.

I just signed my one-year lease last night, downloaded and installed the software, and had just enough time to do a basic play with it. The basic setup was very intuitive using the Quick Setup wizard (there seems to also be extensive feedback in the forums on working with it that I've yet to read). LotRO was detected automatically.

I used the wizard and set up my slave system to make a Character Set (group of toons you normally play together). I restarted IS (I made a quickbar shortcut so I could launch it quickly--I couldn't find the program under the Start menu, so I wonder if it just uses Desktop shortcuts; and I have my desktop icons hidden). Once restarted, the Character Set I created was visible by right-clicking the IS icon in the Windows Notification Area of the Taskbar.

I started, got the first logon window, entered my credentials, and hit Enter. That window minimized to the default mini window spot on my monitor and the next logon window appeared instantly. I followed the same step for logon number three, and within 15 seconds, all three of my toons were loaded. I was really impressed just by the fact I could use a single game install. It mass loading very fast and reduced the amount of system resources needed.

I played around a bit with swapping windows by clicking in each (I think it can be a keymapped feature as well). It was near instant. The neat thing about this is that all of your windows can run at the same size but the non-focused ones will be in the Picture-in-Picture area you get to set up. This comes in very handy when you turn on the feature to broadcast your mouse actions (that will come in very handy when I get my trio Farmers going again).

That's all the time I had to play around with it. Tonight, I will get my main system set up with its three toons and set it up to be a master to the other system (from what I read, it will be able to sync and start the other system's character set).

The one other major thing I have yet to do is explore the keymapping functionality of IS/ISB. As this is obviously a very important part of what we do as multi-boxers, it needs to be perfect. If it isn't, I will continue to use HKN in that regard. I'll know for sure tonight where things stand and will get back to you here with my findings.

I absolutely loved using HKN but the lack of movement abilities was a big drawback for me personally--especially in PvMP.

So, for what it's worth, take it from someone who just took the leap from the free HKN solution to the annual subscription-based one (with a very nominal fee I might add): So far, I am very impressed.

I guess I made the right move then. Did you find it difficult migrating your HKN keymapping over to ISBoxer?

ISBoxer is so many levels above what HKN can do, it's hard to compare.
