RAF – How not to do it

So the short of it is... I linked my 4 extra accounts to my already existing account.. "A"... and I have 1 month left before RAF expires. I did all this before I found these forums or even understood RAF. /facepalm.

My question is... wtf am I going to do with all the gift levels?

My first team is 77-78, and the tank has hit 80, thanks to BOA's. So i've left the other guys to get some rested while i gear up the tank with randoms.

I plan to boost up 3x groups of four toon teams with the pally, to 60. I already have a 5th toon for most of the groups that is already 80.

My tank was on account A (original account) but I moved him to one of the other accounts so that RAF would work. Since they are all linked to account A and the requirement to be within 4 levels of the RAF toon...

I've gifted some levels to a couple toons I already had, up from around lev 30 to 60...

Account A already has like 8 toons on it, so I'll have to transfer some elsewhere, perhaps gifting them some levels before hand if they aren't 80.

Basically... If I level three groups of 4 toons to 60... that is 3 toons per group can gift x by 3 groups x by 29 levels? leave me with gifting 261 levels to account A. Just over 4 level 60 toons if gifted from 1?

The only way out of this issue, to make use of my gift levels and get toons to where I need them is transfers between my accounts right? Bliz can't transfer toons between my accounts if I call them etc? I haven't worked out the exact amount I'll have to spend on transfers... 7+ account transfers potentially. More if I want to make good use of gift levels.

Current thoughts are to boost the toons to 60, transfer as required (and a bit of planning), gift some toons from 0-60 of classes I don't have. Seems like such a waste. (i know it's better to level them to 30 or a bit first) but I can only fit so many toons on account A without transfers!

Researching things properly can be a good idea sometimes. :o

I will probably end up moving the 80 mage and shaman to AC1 with the Paladin... so there is room on AC.A... but they are geared so would be good for farming stuff, so would be good to not be on that account so the pally can tank with them.. I think I'll have to ponder this more... any suggestions?

My aim is to farm heroics, level other teams up to 80 with rested... will take ages I know.. and just mess around with the 80's I have. perhaps I should work that angle..

Make a whole bunch of profession alts? (I recommend xmute alchemy + something else... tailoring maybe)

Well you can get down to it and really make some sets of characters. Just gotta grind them all to 60 basically. Do it in little waves, but work at it... instead of trying to get those guys to level 80, get your toons up. I did five sets of level 60''s and a dk... didn't really take that long. In fact I did almost two sets last weekend. You just gotta want it, and have enough time to do it.
