Looting frustrations, any tips?

Anyone have any looting tips?

I currently...
auto loot
I use Interact with Target (mainly just for getting quest items on other toons)
I use xloot (new version, not the older one)

I gather xloot can be configured not to show the loot frame? I gather this makes it quicker? I haven't worked out how to do this with the new version, might try the older version? I've configured xloot to display the loot frame in the same spot each time so it's not in the way of right clicking the next body.

My latency sits at an avg of 450ms, moving soon so hoping that will drop to 300ms. (I'm in AU)

I find looting to be rather painful, if I right click a lot on a pile of bodies it often trys to loot but then goes to the next body and doens't loot, so I seem to have to right click every 1 to 1.5 seconds or so to be most efficient.

I sometimes loot while in combat... to try to speed it up a bit.

Any thoughts on how I can speed this up?

Get one of the other toons to IWT while i'm busy killing stuff?

Awesome post/signature combination!

With xloot yeah, you should be able to turn off the loot frame. And, actually, the looting is done REALLY quick, it's just the animation that takes time. Your latency isn't so great, but there's really not a whole lot you can do that you haven't done. There's only so quick things can happen.

This is just an idea, that I haven't tested myself (i've been looting ever since with my leader). Also take into account that I don't use isboxer, so I don't know if this is actually possible.

- op out of loot with main. set free for all
- make a round robin keymap. on press one it gets send to slave 1, on 2nd press to slave 2, 3rd press to slave 3 and 4th to slave 4. or make 4 individual keymaps.
- mouseover the dead mob, and have the same key bound to a macro on your main (such as: /cast [target=mouseover] somespell that can't be execute on your main)
- now the keymap on your slave acquires your mains target through an assist, and then runs to it with iwt where he loots the corpse

long story short: you mouseover the dead mob and with two consecutive key presses 1 slave runs to the corpse and loots it, you could run it round robin with all of your slaves or only with your healer for example
