Black Company Fans
I've gotten a few comments over my time here from fellow Black Company fans. Just wanted to let you all know there is a new Black Company short story {yes, by Glen Cook, not some random dude} included in the book Swords & Dark Sorcery.
It's an anthology of various fantasy writers doing their own thing, but if you've been holding your breath on the 2 new books, this will at least give you something to take the edge off. It takes place in the earlier days of the Company, between the first and second books according to my husband {I haven't read it yet}. Enjoy!

Very nice! I'll have to look for this.

Oooh!
Personally, I'd love to read something set in either the Dominion about the origin of The Lady, or something set right as Bomanz frees her from the Barrows and she begins to recreate her Empire.
I have some of his other stuff I need to read, namely the prequel Dread Empire books. I think I also might be a Garrett novel behind as well.
As for the Company books, I liked the stuff before they headed South the best, though The Lady makes parts of the Southern stuff bearable.

I enjoyed the South books much more than Silver Spike. That book, short of giving some resolution for already known characters, should have never been written.
