Transfer BOA Items

Hey guys, I've been away from WOW for a little while and I have a couple questions that you can probably answer.

I looked, but all the topics I found were out of date.

If I pay to transfer an Alliance character from one realm to another, can I have him bring along some BOA items to send to my new Horde character? And if mail works this way now, can I send other items? i.e. greens, blues, money?

You can transfer a toon with gear yes. Of course you know you can only hand to toons on that account. So any new toon created on that account would be able to use them.

Only thing you cannot do is transfer over a certain amount of gold per level.

I dont remember the exact amount... something like 1000 gold for a lvl 1 or something.
