which is the better PvP spell for large groups of enemies?
Just curious and bored :)

imo there's quite a difference.
SoC: 2 second cast time
Living bomb: instant.
Seed of corruption:
Imbeds a demon seed in the enemy target, causing 1044 Shadow damage over 18 sec. When the target takes 1044 total damage or dies, the seed will inflict 1110 to 1290 Shadow damage to all enemies within 15 yards of the target. Only one Corruption spell per Warlock can be active on any one target.
1.) As expected, the DoT-damage scales with your +spelldamage gear, as does the AE-damage.
2.) Unexpectedly (at least for me), the triggerdamage of 1044 does not scale - this means that SoC will trigger itself before 18 seconds pass, even if nothing else happens (9 seconds do it for me).
3.) If the AE is triggered by the enemy taking 1044 damage, it is not counted towards other Seed-triggers on adjacent targets.
4.) If the AE is triggered by the enemy dying, then it IS counted towards other triggers nearby.
Living Bomb:
The target becomes a Living Bomb, taking 1380 Fire damage over 12 sec. After 12 sec or when the spell is dispelled, the target explodes dealing 690 Fire damage to all enemies within 10 yards.
So if i could pick i'd defenitily go for Seed of Corruption. Being able to make it trigger faster is what makes it so much better. Because i don't want to wait 12 seconds before they blow up. Especially if you have 3 or 4 warlocks putting SoC on a raid. The ticks from the dot count for the 1044 dmg done, so they're explode after 3 seconds or so?
SoC will burst after one tick with more than 3 locks, and its instant AOE.
Living Bomb is a GCD though, and can be put on as many targets as you like, which gives you the option to destroy an entire raid with a few GCDs if they don't move from eachother. if Living Bomb explodes when the target dies, that would make it really powerful, since you could put the LB on him and then scorch him to death.
I have warlocks, and play them because I like them, and I find mages repulsive.. I don't know why.
but living bomb doesn't blow up for a while, right? people with 5 living bombs tend to run away from their friends?
Players in AV in the big 20v20 battle wherever it is don't notice what debuffs they have on them. So just assume that both methods will always hit other targets.
But SoC can be very dangerous, as you used to be able to get out 5 or so of them before the first AoE explosion goes off, which then triggers the other 4 instantly.
Yeah, or you could dot up a warrior / DK or something, and then just keep SoCing him and watching all his rogues and friends drop like ducks, very much fun.
That's what makes SoC so dangerous, it explodes all the time, and very, very quickly.
I find even with a 2 second window from cast to explode, sometimes people get out of a group with SoC on them, and it hits nobody... i cant imagine it gets much better with the mage equivalent
