Anyone tried 5 boxing marrowgar?

This morning ICC was reset (EU) and the 20% buff is now active. Thinking for a while to try marrowgar with my team. I have killed him in pugs where the raid dps was lower than what i can do with my team, and I've also solo tanked him before. It was my intend to wipe when i got him down to 1% since i signed up with 2 toons for raids, thus didn't want to get saved (not sure if i could've resisted the urge at 1% to kill him however, ssssst).

On first try my healer got spiked and i wiped really fast. He was behind my shammies so they couldn't target it. On 2nd try i got him to about 10% when i stupidly ran into coldflame when my shammies weren't topped. Can't give it another try this week unless tonight's raid gets cancelled. But it's way easier than i expected.

Had my shammies on follow all the time, facing my tank inside the hitbox.
With all buffs i was sitting at 67k hp with the tank.
My main dps has the 4 pieces T10 set bonus and did around 9k dps
My 2 other dps were 7.1 and 7.5 dps.
Used devotion aura with frost resist totem. and every possible buff i could think off.

The most important thing was mana management as i chain healed with all of them a few times.

I was just curious if anyone else has tried this and if he/she was successful.

Haven't tried boxing it but we 8 manned through Saurfang with alts last night. Need 2 tanks for him but 1 tanked the rest. We had 3 hunters and 2 rogues tho so it's kind of cheating :p

i want try it
my plan is use my 5 paladins.
1 tank+4retri, no real healer.
maybe with one of retri with some tank gear.
atm, my issue is keep all paladins unsaved for at least one/two nights.
new ICC buff makes it possible with this grp? not sure.
i did some trash with 5.
using this grp with zero ICC buff.
it s been impossible reach boss room if happened to face the big mobs, ones activated by traps.
other grps were doable using LoS tricks.
never tryed again after those attempts.
all melee do fight a little easier? maybe...not sure atm.

It will be virtually impossible to do it without a real healer. We had 2 dedicated healers and still wiped with a single tank - one healer got spiked, and the tank had a bad RNG streak on avoidance and ate >50K damage in <2 seconds.

I don't think he has a Berserk timer, so as long as you are mana-stable and can break 1 spike before the next is cast then you'll eventually win.

did 4/5 attempts: yes, looks really impossible with my setup. always wiped badly around 90%, generally after 1st spike.
at least trash is a lot easier now
