Start Raiding
I know some of us are not up to level needed to run ICC yet. I want to start at the beginning, Naxx. This week's raid is Patchwerk so some of you may be saved, but we can try and get things started. If you are in the below the main group level reply and tell me your ideas.

You should be able to 5man patchwork. Thats what I did. I never did it before and merc gave me some tips on where to find him. He was easy to do with my 5man team.

couple problems with that. My computer is flaky so playing 2 toons is looking for crashes. Second I don't have 5 80s yet.

if ya can get 4 more ill do naxx ill bring 5

Also don't give up on ICC because of low gear. The first 4 bosses are very easy and with the +15% hp,dmg, heal buff out its even more forgiving than before. Skill before gear. You dont need 12k dps to down marrowgar. 3 heal instead of 2 heal. Its only going to take you an extra 40-80 seconds to kill that boss but takes a ton of stress off the fights.
You dont even have to kite the blood beasts anymore. Stuns and focus fire and he will be down with 0 or a single mark out.

yeah, I brought a mage to a ICC 25 pug, and was the lowest geared of 3 mages, but did the most DPS out of all mages... If you know your class, and are at least properly itemized, enchanted/gemmed, and flasked, you will likely outdps people in 5.5k gear.

I did Patchwerk, and it was ok for a Pug run. No upgrades, but 10 emblems always help. Running out of stuff to buy with EoT badges. Bought the frost cloak first as it was one of the last lvl 200 armor i had. Riading 10 mans is where I should be, even if I pug them, but not knowing fights will slow me down a little.

I'm not sure what your gold situation is, but ive had great luck with GDKP runs. I did 2 this week in ICC 25, first one I made about 3k gold, second i was down 3k, so i ended up breaking even, but I got some awesome upgrades in the process. It's a good way to get into a run thats less focused on gearscore/achievements, which helps you acquire the achieve, and possibly some gear upgrades, or at least some gold to allow for future upgrades. I believe there are still some ToC GDKP runs out there, but probably not profitable these days, as the only upgrades for most people are the trinkets.

That is what I need now, so I will try to get some guildies running lower 10 mans and pug the rest. Live I said, level 200 ring/neck/trinket and melee weapon and the 219 and up drop in ToC 10m
