Copied team - not recognizing new slots

I copied an existing team so I could sub in a different character. I deleted slot 5, bumping that toon to slot 4. Added new toon to slot 5. Updated FTL and slot switch hotkeys. Left all other settings the same.

Problem - in game, pip switch still acts like it's the original team. When I switch to slot 5, they all follow the old slot 5 (which is now slot 4). The new slot 5, however, follows the other toons as expected. It's as if the old toons aren't aware that there's now a different toon in slot 5.

What other settings should I check? Jamba includes the new toon and all.

You left the game running when making these changes? You would need to /reloadui

Instead of deleting the slot, you should have just dragged the new character to slot 5, and dragged the old character to slot 4, then you wouldn't have had to modify any of the settings (but still Export and /reloadui if in game already). You may need to check that your slot 4 and slot 5 settings do not conflict :)
