druid heals?
ok I need to get this team from 72 to 80: bear, tree, owl, owl, hunter. With my priest it is so easy to heal, I just have a button for each person on the team like /cast [@dodo] flash heal. Does anyone have a simple mana efficient click or castsequence macro for tree healing individual party members? (no nourish, need 80 for that right?) I am not used to this idea of HOTs...
Also, I only saw one AOE heal. Are there any others I missed?
Thanks

Mine is:
/castsequence [@<charactername>] reset=5 regrowth, rejuvenation, lifebloom, lifebloom, lifebloom
That keeps your most efficient/glyphable heals up front so you only get into the heavy healing if you keep pressing it.
If you're doing PVP or heavy movement fights, you might want to put regrowth on another button so you can spam hots while moving.
There are only two AoE heals for druids: Wild Growth and Tranquility.

Generally speaking, teams are usually melee heavy, with the healer at range... or caster heavy, with only the tank apart from the group.
Wild Growth, on the group is generally more then you need to top off against splash/aoe damage.
You can also do a round-robin type macro, which just rolls Rejunvenation on each toon.
There was a very recent thread for Power Word: Shield, and the macro would be the same.

I forgot about tranquility. I don't think I'll be using it much. The wild growth looks nice though for my aoe button.
What do you think about throwing a glyphed swiftmend in there on the heal tank button, like before the lifeblooms or something. Just seems like against an elite I won't be able to wait around for hots. I'll play with both of these suggestions first.
Thanks!

I never had to use my full OMG heals on my bear tank, even in heroics. I usually did regrowth, rejuv, LB, LB, wild growth, drop a hot on another toon to top off from random aggro, rinse, repeat. The tank was usually the least of my worries.
Everyone's experience is different, though. You can surely mix and match things depending on where your spec points/glyphs are.

I've always glyphed Swiftmend on my Resto Druids.
But honestly, its more about which HOTs you want to keep ticking.
Along with how often you'll Wild Growth.

Copy pasted from another thread, these are the buttons I use...
I use a focus based system, where certain buttons will change who my healer is focusing. I then have oh shit buttons, simple buttons for casting each heal individually, and hots as well, but honestly don't really even use those.
Stuff I'm trying for the first time or boxing raids, basically non stop healing (not useful until you're 80):
/castsequence [ target=focus,nochanneling] reset=combat Rejuvenation,,,,,Swiftmend,,,,Lifebloom,,,, Regrowth,,,,,Lifebloom,,,,,Lifebloom,,,,Nourish,,, ,,,Nourish,,,,,,,Nourish
easy stuff:
/castsequence [target=focus,nochanneling] reset=combat Rejuvenation,,,Swiftmend,,,,Lifebloom,,,,Rejuvenat ion,,,Lifebloom,,,,,,Lifebloom,,,,
The above just keeps rejuvenation on constantly, makes sure the blooms bloom, and uses swiftmend as the stopgap to make sure it happens. This macro is very mana efficent, however if this is not spammed, it can get stuck w/out a rejuvenation for the mend, especially if you use the glyph of rapid rejuv (which I honestly recommend against unless you really understand how it works/what it does, and when it is good)
and this is just bound to the same button as my dps/tanking button, so I pay zero attention to what is going on in regards to healing.
Just play around with your timing and what your tank needs in the way of healing - all you have to do is keep rejuvenation, maybe some lifeblooms on your tank in a lot of situations. If gear is still a problem maybe you need to keep regrowth and throw a few nourishes in there. In heroics now I actually just hot the tank before bosses, and otherwise chain cast starfire and wildgrowth on cooldown. (I have wg bound to my scroll down button, and my healing/dps/tank stuff to scroll up - so I just scroll my mouse up and down while I do stuff and this ensures wg is cast on cooldown)
Druids are just great 'set it and forget it' healers. And when you're playing 5 characters, one less thing you have to pay attention to is nice.

I have the same setup regarding the tank healing. I have a castsequence along the same lines as the above posted. It is bound to the same key as the dps spam key. It helps ALOT with the healing since you need to reapply dots etc.
For all other healing I use Vuhdo and repeater regions in IS boxer.

Hi,
if you want to prebuff your team you can do it with a macro mentioned in
http://www.dual-boxing.com/showpost....6&postcount=17
cheers

I tried out the basic castsequence and it works well.
I have played with that buff macro before on another team and haven't had much luck with it. I tried using it again last night to round robin hots across the team and could not get it to work. It gets stuck after one pass through the team and then it seems you have to wait for the reset timer. I tried some different variations of
/cs [@p4] reset=5 ,,,,,,,,,,,,rejuv
/cs [@p3] reset=5 ,,,,,,,,,rejuv
/cs [@p2] reset=5 ,,,,,,rejuv
/cs [@p] reset=5 ,,,rejuv
/cs [@p1] reset=5 rejuv
I am fine though with having a separate key to heal each team member. I can't get into clicking heals, so I have F1-F4 for party1-4, and then 5 for heal tank. Those are easy to reach from 2 which is my attack key.
Thanks again.
