Help with keyclone setup (keybindings)

Basically, I decided I would set up my dual-box to where if I press buttons without modifiers, both characters do it. If I press shift, only character A does it; if I press ctrl, only character B does it.

However, this isn't working :(

I press shift or ctrl and it acts like a normal keypress; I'm using the latest version of keyclone. Any ideas?

PS: if my setup is possible, then would I be able to set up modifiers in macros? Basically, I don't want both my druids to be casting heals at the same time unless told to.

Also, alt for selfcast isn't working :(

ok lets say you want to use frost nova.



Then the best way is to do this:


Toon 1: noting bound

Toon 2: create 2 buttons and bind one as "A" and then oter as "Ctrl + A"
Toon 3: create 2 buttons and bind one as "A" and then oter as "Shift + A"

and remember to not have "Ctrl" or "Shift" in the do not pass section :)

I tried sticking ctrl, shift, and alt in the do not pass section; for some reason, it wasn't accepting them.

PS: I figured out why alt wasn't working (I use Bartender and didn't have it enabled).

EDIT: the only workaround I've found is to set up macros that specify "[nomod:ctrl]" (for character A) and "[nomod:shift]" (for character B). The only problem with this is that I'll run out of macro space if I have to do this with all my buttons...any help in making it work the other way? This is especially important so I don't have to make macros for my forms, as well.

Other issues I've been having:

The following macros don't work:

/cancelform [nomod:ctrl,mod:shift]

^Character A

/cancelform [nomod:shift,mod:ctrl]

^Character B

If I hit movement keys, my second character whacks out and either starts spinning or automoving in the direction I hit.

Also, I'm trying to decide which of the following macros will work properly in allowing me to auto assist my main on my first cast (because I keep forgetting to assist them beforehand):

#showtooltip [Wrath]
/target [help,party2][notarget,party2]
/assist [help]
/cast [harm] Wrath; [help] Rejuvenation

#showtooltip
/assist Character X [mod:X]
/cast [harm] Wrath; [help] Rejuvenation

If you have another suggestion for the above, feel free to let me know.

So did you fix the key pinding thing?


and i bind "W" to a macro called:

/stopspellcast
/follow toon1

on the oter toons and then jstu have noting on the main toon.



If you stil haveing trouble with the Cthr thing try this:

Toon 2: create 2 buttons and bind one as "A" and then oter as "Ctrl + A" and then bind a button with no spell on it as "Shift + A"
Toon 3: create 2 buttons and bind one as "A" and then oter as "Shift + A" and then bind a button with no spell on it as "Ctrl + A"

Once I figured out what you meant by this, I tried it and it worked like a charm.
