I imagine a simple question

Hey guys, I'm leveling my pally/shaman group and I hit 75 yesterday on my shamans. Is there a mod that can send a message to my main letting me know when lava burst is available? Thanks.

The answer is using a click macro, this way it is automatic. The comma's below represent the 8 sec cooldown. Just drop the macro below onto the tool bar and reference the slot it is in the bar in another macro whcih then can cast the slot instead of the spell.

Mikes scrolling battletext has something in it. It's really hard to setup on your own. I'd find the youtube video for you, but it took some serious digging aruond when i looked for it. Mine was for hotstreak proc tho.

Have a look around in google - search mikes scrolling battle text(MSBT), lava burst. maybe you'll find something.

Honestly, I'd build the click castsequence macro.
And not manage this manually.
Just spamming a key will do this perfectly, for PvE.

For PvP, you'll be better off manually casting everything.
But that kind of forces you to play all of the same class, or as close to that as possible.
If you play multiple toons in PvP, you'll need to macro the dps and accept it won't be optimal, but that it will be far better then micromanaging it entirely.

You can install deadly boss mods (which is a must anyways) and then install spelltimers-dbm. There you can add the player you want to see the cooldown for per spell (just grab the spell id from wowhead). I prefer this method as it uses a bar instead of flying text. If i want to know if a spell is on cd or not, i just have to look to the set of bars.
