Consolidating all damage in scrolling combat text

Has anyone successfully been able to combine all damage from alts into one big number for each type of spell, in a scrolling combat text mod? And I mean making it look as default as possible.. like big 30000 number pops up as the combined total of 4 lava bursts or something.

I've seen a few UI's showing group damage scrolling off to the sides in a completely unreadable and useless way, that's not quite what I'm looking for. I'm thinking it would look like my main DK just did a 15k white crit by herself, or a yellow for a 20k judgement, etc.

The best option I've seen is the Parrot mods, as Parrot has "throttling" which will condense all damage from the same source into one scroll entry. It's very configurable, so it'll probably be as close as you're gonna get without doing some LUA hacking on your own.

Mik's Scrolling Battle Text has throttling too, not sure if you can combine the damage from several characters into one number, but I know it has throttling of other stuff and that it is pretty easy to get party damage in it.
As configurable as it is, I wouldn't doubt that it would be doable.

I tried modding Mik's but he's got SO much freakin code in there for all the bajillion+1 options that I finally just cried uncle and gave up. :P

I'm looking through the code on break, I think I might take a shot at this when I get home tonight. If I succeed I'll share.

As far as I know about mik's you don't need to change the code, you just do it all in the ingame UI.

If you can figure out how to have Mik's combine all your toons spell damage so as to show the following please post and let us know how :)

Say 4 mages all cast arcane blast. each one averaging about 20,000 damage. I want my screen to show

(arcane blast icon) 80,000 etc.

I have not seen a way to do this in mik's in game ui, and why would it be... Doubtful any solo boxer would want this.

True, I think the closest you can get with the ingame interface is having each character's damage summarized by character, not combining multiple characters.
What would be nice is if you can set your list of characters as acceptable sources (or to be treated as one) and combine by spell. Indeed.
Not sure if it is already possible, I have not tried to set it up myself.

I would like to do this too. I read somewhere that Mik's could do it.

For single boxers, raid leaders might like to know total damage being done.
