Three-man Onyxia 25

Zalea, Stealthy, and I had some fun on Magtheridon this morning.

We were able to down 25-man Onyxia. :o

The whelps, lair guards, and constant Onyxia fireballs that had splash damage were pretty bad, and we wiped quite a bit last week trying this, but in the end we prevailed.

The thing I'm happy about is that we didn't overgear the content - our average gear score was around 4700 - not bad, but it certainly wasn't just an overgear situation.

We then jumped in VoA10 and downed Toravon three times in a row (lots of somewhat geared toons to choose from between us). Our luck with drops was poor throughout, but it was definitely fun!

Mercurio & Zaelar were 10 boxing, and I was 5-boxing if anyone was wondering. Shame about the loot - we ended up sharding a lot of it. :mad:

One thing that cracked me up - Deadly Boss Mods has sound files for the Onyxia fight taken from the very popular youtube video which play at certain points during the fight:

"Hit it like you mean it"
"Now hit it very hard and very fast"
"I don't see enough dots, more dots now."
"WHELPS!! LEFT SIDE!!! EVEN SIDE!!! HANDLE IT!!!"
and when you wipe:
"WTF!!!! THAT IS A F***ING 50 DKP MINUS!!!"

Thats pretty hawt. I think of myself as pretty hardcore as a 5-boxer, but you 10 boxers are supreme. Very cool guys.
