Macros?
Right now I currently use this
/assist Èlemental
/cast lightning bolt.
Now with this macro it allows me to save a button, the assist button. But should I really be using this or would I have more success by using the /assist as a separate button? I'm looking to do arena and PvP. So feedback from people who PVPbox would be nice. :)

Huh. you want to simplifies things, not the other way around.

If you want each toon, to acquire the target of your leader...
/assist TheLeader
/cast SomeNuke
If you want to cast at the leader's target, but not take their target...
/cast [target=Leader'sTarget] SomeNuke
Sometimes you have an advantage from manually controlling something.
If this is the case, then the manual control gets a benefit over an automated action, built into whatever and without control on your part.
However, most things are better for us, if they automatically happen because we have configured them that way.
You can include /use 13 and /use 14, in your general click dps stuff.
But then you have no control over when they go off.
But also use them as often as possible, which is good for PvE.
Not having them automatically fire off always, might be an idea for PvP.
Save them for your big nuke, which then guaranteed gets the biggest benefits to it.
It's a toss up really, for a lot of things.
But most things, we would like to occur automatically, without us needing to manage them.
Which gets us a benefit, with one less thing to track/manage manually.

/castsequence bloodlust, astral recall
/camp
That one works pretty well for me. If you want to log off your team even faster you can equip a haste trinket and /use 13 or /use 14.

In my experience complex macros ( save for a "boom" key for EM+ trinkets ) in pvp are typically a bad idea. Each ability needs to be used in reaction to a certain situation if you want to do well. It looks like you haven't setup a FTL assist system yet either which you should certainly look into as well if you want to pvp any, without FTL everytime your main dies your dead in the water which is unnacceptable in pvp. Switching windows(and mains) on a moments notice and continueing on without pause is pretty important (imo) if you want to have success in bg's or arena's.
PS: there are many good guides on how to setup an FTL system on the site ( Isboxer basically does it for you if you use it )

I've been amazed by the videos of Isboxer and I can proudly state I will be setting up my subscription this weekend. It seems like too good a deal to pass up, and it looks way better than my current software. I mean the auto FTL system and auto follow... I USE TO PRESS BUTTONS! Forgive my sudden ejaculation with caps, but I mean, it's still mesmerizing

Yeah, IS Boxer can be quite fun to box with.
If you like to mouse click buttons, you can set up repeater regions to broadcast your clicks.
Or through mapped keys, you can have auto assist or whatever else you like.
There are so many things you can do with the mapped key system.
Even though there are many great features, if I had to pick a top feature of IS Boxer, this would probably be it.
Lax gives great support and is constantly tweaking and adding features.
All in all, really happy that I gave it a chance.
