VE&VT&Misery are all helpful but it depends on your setup.
Are you running affliction locks?
Are you running a zerg team or a tank, healer and 3 dps.
For VE&VT to be useful the duration of them must be of decient time, like bossfights are there real strengths.
There not going to top the dps meters like a mage or lock would but they are a utility but it depends, its sorta situational.
Running the 3dps setup the downside of a shadowpriest is that cc isnt a viable option, mindcontrol with a duelbox would kinda suck.
For heroics ther are few tankign classes.
If 5man heroic was my gole id go for:
1X Paladin = salv :)
3x Mage = BADASS nuke and sheep X3! :P
1x Shaman = Totems! :) o jea and that healing part XD
but if you wana go normals and then straight to Kara id go:
1X Warlock = Pet tanking!
4x Mage = sheep and real nuke
Speccem Demonology/Fire for instance and Destor/fire for Raids (25% more firedmg is awsome!)
QFT, I donly put a spriest into my team if I had an affliction lock to go with it, otherwise the only priest in my group would be the healer.Quote:
