What a day... Talking on the phone with Dell makes me want to die. "what seems to be the

problem" "You guy said the video card in the laptop was gone after her had already connected to my

computer and charged me 45 dollars... Well if you would like I could connect to your computer and tell

you what the deal is. WHAT THE LAST GUY DID THAT ALREADY.. Please hold (45 min later) Would you

like for me to connect? "Your just fucking with me right now arnt you?" No sir shal I attempt to connect

using dell connect?" NO! TELL ME WHO TO CALL TO PUT A FUCKING CARD IN MY COMPUTER

ASSHOLE!!!! "Get me a manager right fucking now" they are just going to tell you the same thing. GET

ME A FUCKING MANAGER I WILL NEVER EVER BUY A DELL AGAIN DO YOU HEAR ME YOUR CUSTOMER

SERVICE IS AWFUL!!!!! (Im literally yelling in my car) Tell you what sir if I could just connect to your

computer then I could just confirm.. How about this. Im going to say Hello then your going to say hello

then your going to ask whats wrong? I will then tell you whats wrong. You will say you are a dumb fuck

and cannot figure it out. I will then wish you a good day sir. You will then say good day. and i will hang

Meanwhile across town my mom is calling me and telling me that she wants me to stay at their house all

next week because Grandma doesnt want to stay at my house becuse........ "Id have to bring my

clothes" she says.... Are you Kidding me right now? Stay with me bring a fucking suitcase get over it. Good LORD!

I feel your pain. I hate customer service.

I had a similar service issue issue with my bank. I was put into a perpetual automated cycle of doom. I could not even connect to a person to confirm what needed to be done. I then went to an actual branch, but the personal banker couldn't fix the issue because it was a weekend. Happy happy joy joy.

Im convinced there is no such thing as Customer Service.

It costs too much to hire somebody that can understand the problem to troubleshoot over the phone. call centers are to save money afterall.

I deal with Dell all the time at work.... I avoid the phone, I use chat. Once you know the questions they're going to ask its very easy to manipulate the conversation into getting what you want. At any rate, Ive always had pleasant dealings with them, sorry you had an issue.

I also use Dell at work and always use the online chat. Like redbeard said, just manipulate the convo, lie to get what you need, and you will be much better off.
