New Pvp Season 8

I haven't kept up much with what changes in each pvp season but since I have an excess of triumph and stone keeper shards that can be converted into pvp gear. At the sametime, I don't want to buy stuff now that will be outdated in a couple weeks come the new season.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Triumph Emblems = Will buy Furious Set (ilevel 232) ---- Nothing will change here come the new season.

Wintergrasp Tokens = Hold off on these as blizzard will make new stuff available to buy with WG tokens?

Honor = Hold off til new season also as relentless gear (currently arena rating required) will become strictly honor purchaseable.

So all in all, it's safe to buy the triumph set now and buy the neck/ring/cloaks with honor next season, along with bracer/boots and trinkets from wg next season too?

The same badges will buy the same level gear, that is correct.

Typically a new raid instance comes out, with higher iLV gear.
And a new pvp season starts, with the same iLV gear.
In both cases, the new highest level stuff has the highest iLV values.

Heroics will typically drop a badge type, which can be used for gear which was previously raid or arena only.
But the same badge type buys the same level of gear as it always did.
You just have access to a higher badge type from the heroics.
And a new higher badge type from raids.

All sets will just take each others place.
S8 gear = Arena pts
S7 relentless = arena pts but with low rating req
S6 Furious = Avalabe from honor / tokens
S5 Deadly = Gone. Only from WG

Any word on new wintergrasp gear for season 8?

Havnt heard anything so far, prob the same, but gonna google some.
