Guys .....

This forum is growing at a very impressive rate, as alot of people get into the idea of multi-boxing, and with any fourm that grows in size, we are going to be seeing posts from people that dont speak english as thier first language. If someone does not manage to convey an idea or spells things "incorrectly" to you, put yourselves in thier shoes and stop giving them a hard time.

I have to put up with the fact that almost no one on these forums spells colour properly.... yes its colour, not color..... wait did I just give myself away as not being from the United States of America? :P

My point is if you take the time to actually read and try to understand the posts, I am sure you will be able to figure out what is being said, for the most part.

Be polite.... its a lost art that needs to be re-kindled.


And dont get me started on how to say the last letter of the alphabet properly :P

and besides, everyone knows that only the Scots are able to properly utilize the Queen's english... (i just won't mention how) :)

Hehe actually Key .... in English Canada its pronounced Zed as opposed to the American way of saying it..... Zee

Coming from a Scottish and English background and being Canadian I say Zed :P I cant even remember how to say it in French.

This is my point..... we both understand each other even though we spell things differently..... So lets stop bashing people who speak english as a second language a whole lot better than we can speak their language.

But I do spell Honour with one...

english ain't my first language.

2. color & colour are both correct.
one of them is american english, the other one is british english
(my english teacher told me a loooong time ago)

3. I don't correct people if they mistype something

you can't even translate that with google translator to understand.

I can start this cool l337-speak myself like:
"yo komma klaa krassr checkr. ma guggn was ma heut noch mogn könn".

try to translate that from german into english.
that's the same for you as if I would try to translate this l337-speak from english into german because I don't understand a part of the sentence.

I was talking about several remarks made by posters directed at a certain member of our forums, whom I believe is from Iceland, and can be understood if you take the time to read what he is saying. I may be wrong but I dont believe that he is posting in leet speak.


I am very happy that germans can also degrade their communications by also using leet speak and I will not try to translate it, rather I would just ignore it, but as I mentioned before, if it is quite obvious that someone is using english as thier second language, cut them some slack.

Its not hard to be polite, I guess it just doesnt feel as good as being rude.
