I had been wondering this as well. I dunno how the brodcasting would work, and not really interested in the expensive of a mouse if ti doesnt. I already have a brand new copperhead from razor.
I'm utilizing the naga with ISBoxer, it broadcasts exactly like your 1-= keys or your Num0-9 + and - keys... since thats what it is.
When the NewIS2BasedApp releases you will be able to map these keys separately so you can have your numberpad and naga do different actions!
hells ya! when they release that new software i'm gonna be all over this thing, i love extra keys!
I will be buying one myself :)
I finally got to see one today in person at Best Buy.
I would NEVER buy one. _never_ Its fucking tiny. Like 10-year-old kid tiny. Its about the size of a laptop/netbook portable mouse with 17 buttons on it. What a stupid design.
If you're considering buying one of these things, go find one first and put your hand on it. The last row of the "number pad" - I had to basically take my hand off the mouse to use it.
I've never had a Razer product that didn't fall apart early on. Except the free hat they sent me the third time I had to RMA the same model of mouse because of out-of-box defects.
I'm using a SteelSeries Ikari Laser. And have been for a long time now. It's awesome. The rubberized surface wears a bit and after a few years the scroll wheel gets stained and the logo gets faded. But it's by far the most comfortable and durable mouse I've ever used. And the thumb buttons weren't placed by a moron that had never seen a human hand before. Some of their other stuff (*cough*wowmouse*) is not as good, but the Ikari Laser...nice. I think I still have a spare NIB from when they were on sale for $25...maybe in a few years when this one finally wears out, I'll try to figure out where I stashed it.
Huuugraaaahhh oh god what is that thing?! Just looked at the Naga, and my god, is that thing ever ugly. Don't these people have anyone with design experience, or did they just cobble that together in some 3D program and then start manufacturing them straight up with no testing phase?
