worth it to stay at 70 anymore?

hey

I'm thinking multiboxin'

but currently can only afford basic wow plus addon Burning crusade

is it worth it anymore to level a PvE group of (warrior, 2xshaman,1xhunter, 1x priest=healer) to 70, grind heroics until all slots are filled with level 70 epic items on all characters, and emblems can be used as well to archive this goal

but now that even Alterac valley is 70-79, same for Eye of the Storm, Warsong Gulp and Arathi Basin... will multiboxing this group in PvP as level 70 full epic survive in there?

OR - SHOULD I WAIT UNTIL Q2-Q3 / 2010 and buy all expansions to WoW, not including Cataclysm if it's not out yet

to summarizie: is it worth it to level 70, gain all epic items in all slots and is there anything fun to do after that with 5 player-multiboxing?

edit: added: also, as level 70 can get maximum level 125 or so items (heroic drops from magister's terrace), and level 80 can get upwards from level 228 items, is there any chance 5boxing can bring down even one level 80 if he's skilled and fully 228 epic'd?

its worth if you have fun with what you are doing.

I would think it will be very frustrating to be stuck at 70, people in greens from Northrend will be killing you in your Outland epics. That could not be fun :(

This is very true. My pally team is stuck in the same situation as you and they are lvl 69 right now. I even get my ass handed to me in AV cause of those that are in Northrend starter gear are better equipped than me. Plus they are a little more skilled than me at BGs but that's beside the point ;)

Like Nilz said, if you're having fun, then it's worth it. I'm trying to spend my time now working on alt teams or the opposite faction to kill some time till I get my x-paks and make that grind from 70-80. Done decided that my Pally team will be my primary for dungeon running, grinding, alt boosting, and gold farming, so all my other teams are pretty much for fun, and experimentation.

nothing prevents you from buying most level68-70 northrend greens...
