Something weird is going on with my computer. Every few minutes (maybe 10?) my window will lose its focus and I am unable to cast/do anything in WoW until I click the window again. I have no clue where to start to figure out what is doing it, but I sometimes wonder if its my virus protection program AvG. Anyone have some insight in how to figure this out?
Turn off everything but WoW, and then add things back in one at a time to find the culprit.
By "turn off everything", do you mean end process on everything in task manager except wow? I'm not comfortable messing with that, I'm afraid of permanently wrecking something.
something is stealing focus I would lean towards anti-virus some popup like the taskbar or Windows Security. I am guessing of course but these are easy things to rule out.
There are ways to set windows to always be on top I am not sure if this would be a quick bandage fix.
It is the latest version of AVG - I didn't bother looking into this any further than that, but just uninstalled it and *poof* no more problem
