ISBoxer Virtual FIles not Saving settings

I am have trouble with ISBoxer as well, but my problem is that my video settings are not being saved on any toon in the virutal config files. Every time I log in all video settings (effects) are at max on all toons.

Why was this moved? If I had wanted to make a ticket, I would have made a ticket.

I had something like this happen to me after a recent update, i had deleted out all my wtf folders and config files and then started my group with IS but none of my settings ever took. It seems like it cannot virtualize the file initially if the original root file doesn't already exist.

To fix it, all I had to do was start the plain old WoW client by itself and log in to a character, then exit the game normally. The next time I used IS, all the virtual files worked as they should have.

Also, you may want to look at the virtual files themselves to verify they are being created and have the normal config contents.

Thanks abron. I didn't actually make this post, someone made it for me . . . I did just what you suggested and we'll see if it fixed the problem, but it appears to have. When I /quit I get a wow.exe error on one or two windows that I assume is the net result of 5 closing at once (though I haven't had that trouble before). When that started is when my settings trouble began.

That's what happens to me when i exit all at once also. So whenever I change something I think is important in the keybinds, addons, or config, I always exit them one by one.

I've noticed if I /exit out, and click the exit now button.
I sometimes get an error message.

If I let it count down, or go through the camp procedure.
I never get the error message.

But have not had an issue with settings not being remembered.
