Looks like I may be giving WoW a break again. Haven't played in about 3 days and have no desire to!
Yeah I think the shine is starting to dull for me again as well.... can't get anymore gear from instances/badges... nothing but raiding left.
Well, I just wrote up a long reply to this but my browser ate it.
Short version: I've been having lots of fun in ToC lately. Blizzard designed the game around raids b/c that's what the vast majority of the player base enjoys doing in game. Maybe you should dip your foot in. Then again, I'm a firm believer in doing what you have fun doing - whether that be in-game or elsewhere. :)
Heh I was wondering why I hadn't seen you around as much lately...
But I'm sure you'll be back! ;)

I am sure I will be back one day! I just canceled my accounts this morning. I have a lot of things I need to do for myself in my personal life and if I am playing WoW I usually let those things slide.

So then I go and ding my mages to 80 and get mirror image. Maybe I am not ready to leave just yet. :)
Hah! There's almost always something similar that gets me about time I think I'm close to burning out. Then again, half the time something like that catches my eye is when I'm not even done with my current team.Quote:
