Question about Dual-boxing

I got the Keyclone trial thing to see what this stuff is about. I plan to dual box Aion. My question is how do I go about getting Keyclone to work with Aion? I got it set up to launch the clients but beyond that I can't log in. I put KeyClone on hold with PAUSE and then I did it by manually clicking the override button and dnp buttons but no combination seemed to allow me to log in. Says I can't reach the authentication server. I am very interested in Dual boxing but don't know where to start. Can someone help me? :D

you can not launch aion from keyclone/hotkeynet you have to launch it from NCSoft launcher for it to actually "work" (even though renaming Aion.bin to Aion.exe looks like it works; it doesn't (or needs missing parameters))

so launch your 2 windows normally (allow multiple instances in ncsoft advanced settings) and then add them after they are launched

So, I should start up Aion1 and Aion2, log in with both accounts, then start keyclone, and with the commands

C:\Program Files\NCSoft\Aion1\bin32\AION.bin
and
C:\Program Files\NCSoft\Aion2\bin32\AION.bin

set as Aion1 and Aion2, use the connect and connect KeyClone to the 2 bins. Correct?

What all needs to be run as Administrator?

but what I was saying is you do NOT use keyclone to start the game; you start the game twice normally using ncsoft launcher (without copying the whole directory; that doesn't work either / isn't necessary as far as I know) and then you add the windows to keyclone

Well I put Aion into Window Mode and added them to Keyclone after logging in and getting into position, but once I've got keyclone set up nothing happens. I've run it as admin and restarted the app to make sure the settings save, but still no solution. Is it just Aion or am I doing something wrong? I dont have any keys on the Do Not Pass or Round Robin, putting them there and taking them away seems to be nothing more than a step backwards.

Edit: I had the movement working for a short time. but it stopped and I dont know how it started working or stopped working. seems like the rest of the keys work. What about mouse clicks? Can those be cloned? and what about right clicks and swings? I use right click to run around all the time. Or is there where the Follow Command comes in?

the basics principle of multiboxing (do we have a tutorial for that somewhere on twiki?) is that at any given point in time you drive one character (main) and the others follow - which is why you don't pass the movement keys to other windows and having the game support follow (and some sort of way to assist) is a must

luckily aion supports both; though somewhat less well as wow; yet enough to play. see the macros I use

one issue with aion though is gliding is by default bound to the space bar - which isn't yet able to send as a background movement key (though I'm working on this with freddie) - so far I glide my 2 toons seperatly; which makes me slower for some things and may be an issue in the abyss later - but you can fly (page up is broadcast) and follow and that works (though you waste some precious flight time at the beginning to make sure your slave(s) are following) - in short it's a bit klunky bit it's doable/boxable (you can watch my videos and see)

This is just a random bug with Aion in itself... occasionally, when launching two copies of Aion, one will inherently pass all keys to the second, even without keyclone started up. Alt Tabbing back and forth between clients will usually cancel the affect.
