Red Faction Guerrilla
Wow.
WOwowowowowowowowoowowoowoow.
Disclaimer: my laptop is not super great and my new parts just arrived for the PC im building (im installing vista x64 as I write this) but... this game looks and feels fantastic. I cant wait to play it on my new system.
I recently picked up farcry 2 because i was looking for something single player to play and it was 20 bucks and... the games are remarkably similar (in their open worldness and the mission type stuff etc), but I have to say that RFG just shits all over Far Cry 2...
Anybody else playing?

im pretty easily satisfied when it comes to games so i thought it was awesome.
however, theres way too much warm color and it gives me a headache after extended play.

Yea, I got it for my 360 and only liberated the first settlement. Been working on all the side missions and finding the ore/boxes before finishing up the second zone, Dust I think. I was impressed with the game, but also disappointed cause in the first two, you could destroy just about anything, environment/buildings/cars, depending on how much your system could handle at once, but I had it on the PS2. This one, you can only destroy the buildings/cars/signs/ore, no environment, like the ground. Damnit, I wanted to play mole and dig some tunnels :( oh well. I imagine the PC version will come out with a mod for that eventually. Oh yea, beware that the M.O.A.B.s you find are one time use. There are I think like 9 or so in the game, but each can only be used once. So be careful and plan how you use them. I didn't know that on the first one I find and screwed up with it.

i did the same with my first....used my 2nd to blow up a bridge in the 3rd zone.
