Easy way to beat the Rogue/Healer combo H ToC

First of all just start with one guy in the instance. The herald will only announce one of your guys instead of all 5. This literally saves 4 minutes.

Get your mounts set your guys up. If you get a combo you don't like IE Rogue, Warrior, Healer ride out of the instance and use the reset instances option. Even though you get no message it will rest H ToC for you.

Since you start the event with only one toon it only takes 4 minutes from the time you click I am ready to the time you start killing the first pack of trash mobs.

So resetting it once or twice to get a combo of champions that are easier will only take less than 4 minutes each attempt. Just keep in mind your 5 instances an hour limit.

I do this all the time. Why struggle with stopping heals, strafing out of AoE, and healing through mortal strikes. The time it takes to reset will be way less than the time you spend recovering from a wipe or two. Not to mention downing the champs are less stressful when it is say the Rogue, Hunter, Mage as opposed to Warrior, Shaman, Rogue.

That works, but you don't really need to avoid them. :) Even when I draw a healer, I just concentrate on killing the heavy damage-dealers. Interrupt Colossos's heals when you can, but I find that he's less interested in healing his friends than he is in healing himself, so I'll generally refuse to play his game, and just ignore his attempts to tank me 'til the rogue (and/or hunter) are down. While this fight, played straight, isn't usually ez-mode, I haven't wiped on it in ages.

Yeah I do in fact just nuke through alot of his healing. I just found that Rogue, Shaman, Warrior is just a bit too much. Having to interupt, heal through mortal strikes/spinning blades of death, and straffing out of the AoE is just too much for me to do and still have fun.

If I get the shaman I always kill him first then down his buddies but if I get a strong combo like Rogue/Shaman I just reset it and forget it.

BTW does anyone else get the confessor most of the time on Heroic?

I find on Heroic I get her almost every time and on normal I get Eadric almost everytime.

Eh its pretty even for me on who I get second round.... Any time I get rogue, the rogue dies first. He just annoys the shit outta me and he is a bit OP (wish the FoK nerf hit him too, lol.) I find with my shaman if I spread out his poison isnt too bad and I can get him down in about 15-20 secs. It doesnt give the shaman npc a whole lot of time to heal him. However with my paladin group this is just impossible. The rogue eventually hits diminishing returns on my stuns and then its game over as he spazzes out throwing poison everywhere. Plus the dps from my paladins is slower so the shaman has time to heal. Very annoying.

Hey I read cleansing totem is supposed to work on the Rogue AoE. Can anyone confirm or deny?

You know I have never paid attention on the rogue can you cancel his bottle or is it an instant cast?

He has two. One where he seems to Fan of Knives poison out and another thats a ground AE. The one that puts a debuff on you can be cleansed, the one thats on the ground must be strafed out of or healed through.
