healing macro
sorry for the utterly noobish question but is there a macro that i can use that will make one of my clones heal another member of the group without loseing the target they are nukeing?
im sure ive seen one on here before but noone ever names their forum posts that clearly to go back and find them again >.< i normally favorate the pages but couldnt find this one.

The functionality you're looking for is the target= option. Like all options, just put it in brackets after the /cast and before the spell name. It changes the target for that spell and that spell only without actually affecting what the character is looking at. For instance,
/cast [target=focus] Flash Heal
Heals whatever your focus'd on without changing anything. Moreover, there's a wide range of things you can put inside.
/cast [target=targettarget] Renew
Drops a renew on whatever your target's target is.
If you're looking for more complicated examples, check the sticked post here:
Useful multi-boxing macros
And also this one:
Setting a New Leader Upon Death
Both have some examples of people using target= for exactly what you're talking about.

there is one macro that i made that is great for healing. Basically if you are out of combat it casts a heal on your target...if you are in combat it will cast a heal on the person that is taking damage at the time ( as long as you have a focus set...which i always do)
/cast [nocombat] Lesser Heal
/cast [target=focustargettarget, combat] Lesser Heal
