Going to roll a BE pally, wish there was a choice. What caster class would be a good fit. I will level the BE team to 60 and they join with a shaman (prob orc) team. Maybe a priest as tanks and healers can always get groups.

a druid is always a good choice
Well if you are staying BE then either a mage or a priest. pally + mage AE team is sexy or like you said tank and heals hardly ever have issues locating people to pug with later on.
