Simple 2 box setup..
I'm sure i'll get jumped by someone.. but I have looked all over this site and others for a simple 2 box setup... all i find are serious multibox setups.
I'm just needing a little help on a simple 2 cpu setup... I have all the hardware and keying software... just need someone kinda work me through getting it setup for a prot-warrior & resto-shammy... I'll accept the grilling... but i honestly cant find a simple setup...

What is your "keying software? Most have set up pages and/or videos. Look in the Software tool stickys

I downloaded keyclone... from what i have been reading... it seems the easiest to use and setup... do i have to install it on both machines ? Do you think a resto shammy and prot warrior would be a good First option to learning to 2 box ?
And ty for answering and not being mean :)

yes you need a copy on both systems. Set up to talk to each other and there you go. And you are right, Keyclone is the easiest to start with.

Do you know of any Free software options ? 40 dollars to get started is alot for me atm.
Thank you in advance :)

i believe the new version of ISboxer includes a wizard that will do 90% of the setup for you ... pretty cheap ...
i've also used hotkeynet for 8 months and really liked it ... that one's free - no complaints with it at all - switched to ISboxer only b/c of the superior window-switching-speed and near-perfect mouse-broadcasting (for my aoe ground-target)

could you notice much of a REAL diffrence when you switched to IS ? Would Hotkeynet be good for just 2 boxes ?

I believe the ISBoxer remark is because they are running on a single system while you are running on two systems. Keyclone is one of the easiest the license per system seems a bit daunting, but its for life... Just look at the price of a pizza or something and decide not to get one one week and POOF, no worries about the $40 for keyclone which doesnt go bad if you leave it out for 2 days on the counter :)
