How many instance runs?

Okay so In a few days I'm going to get keyclone and make a RAF account linked to my account with my 80 on it. I will run him through instances ALL the way up to 60, THEN I'll transfer the 60 (mage) to my account with my 80 on it and finish getting it to 80 by myself.

Well first, I'm wondering if that ^^ will work. both accounts are registered to the same name (my name) and email address. What I wanted to make sure was that I could transfer it at 60 to my mains account.

Next question was on an estimation, How many instance runs would I need to boost 1 RAF linked account to 60 (starting from ~10?)
Also how many hours (Approx.) will it take?

Edit: I will be NOT be looting, which speeds up the process tremendously. Please state whether the amount of hours you said includes looting or not.

I will be doing each instance in 1-3 pulls. (with exceptions like Deadmines you are limited to how many pulls you can do)

If you are using the 80 on the linked account to boost and only have one RAF account then you will not get the RAF xp bonus. However, if you purchase one more account and basically 3 box, and link it to the account linked to the main account you will get the bonus.

Main Acct -> Account A -> Account B

Or another option you have is to pay somebody else to boost you through instances and get two toons to 60 through RAF and still only have to transfer one over to Main Account.

Okay so I link Account A to my main, then link Account B to Account A.


Have Account B follow Account A and then I can just run them on my 80. (They both benefit from RAF right)

But then you said I could have someone else run me, but will they both benefit from RAF? and also you said I would only have to do one transfer, but that's 2 seperate characters so wouldn't I have to transfer 2 (both) of them to my main?

There are lots of RAF setup threads.

When it comes to RAF from 1-60 my last group completed this in 15 hours played time. Im sure I could have done it faster as there were times I got up and walked away to eat and stuff and just left them standing there. Also Im on a pvp server and there were 2 times I got messed with while running to the next instance.

1-10 Crabs
10-20 Shadowfang Keep
20-35 Scarlet Monistary
35-45 Sunken Temple
45-60 Scholomance

All the zones are on the same continent so that helped. Also I did not have to move any of my low level guys from the zone in to get all the XP. I only had to visit 4 instances so running all over the place was cut down. Also I had a full group and that does help with the XP gain. If you only have 3 people in your group it will take an extra run or two more at each instance.

If you have a main account with an 80, and a new RAF account.

As long as the toons are grouped and within 4-5 levels they get the bonus.
So if you made a new toon say Mage on your existing account.
And went with a new toon, say Druid on your new account.
The Mage/Druid group would get the bonus experience.

For the 80 to boost them, you'd need the 80 + two accounts which are linked.
