Fun little experience in Arathi
So I'm running my druids back and forth between Hammerfall and Stromgard for the quest chain and on this particular run i roll right into a 60'ish paly and 33 frost mage, single moonfire x5 takes care of the mage but the paly bubbles, heals up and take my group apart which is fine, 4 lvl 41 boomkin with a lvl 61 and my gear is crap besides not initiating the attack correctly.
I notice that one of the last 41 druids is going down and another is still up. A quick travel form and I'm outta there heading for the ogre hill just north of stromgard. The paly is in pursuit but cant mount yet so i try to duck between hills and try to avoid getting stunned by the orges. I come to the north end of the mount and round the big tree and hit cat form and then a quick stealth and hug the tree. A moment later the paly and another dude come around from both side of the same tree.
They keep riding on and i slowly pull away from the hill toward the open plain. I turn to see them scouring the hills for me and getting a load of aggro at the same time. I get far enough away and start the hearth. Then it dawns on me, they aren't camping my alts! I quickly run them to their bodies, rez and hearth. Perfect, get-a-way, distraction with a decoy.
I LOVE this druid group. So much utility that no other class has. No in-combat restriction on changing forms. It's like a stealth caster gank squad with a quick get-a-way.
