Leveling more than 5 characters at once in BG's

The problem with leveling more than 5 characters at once now is quests can't be done in a raid and most quests have problems with doing them in two seperate parties(like waiting on bodies to respawn or collecting massive amounts of items) and just grinding in a raid isn't efficient with small amounts of xp per mob and the raid xp penalty.

But coming up in 3.2 there is going to be xp from battlegrounds. You will get it from things that award honor(not kills) at a rate "slightly slower than questing".

So am I wrong thinking this will be a better way to level up more that 5 accounts at once than doing multiple 5 man groups separately? It should be more fun at least.

I have 7 accounts now and would like to go to 10 and have a team of 7x warlocks and 3x resto druids. I would have to create 3 more accounts and boost up some more to catch up to what I have already. I could be doing that until the patch comes out but I'm worried that it might not work out.

What do you all think? Will there be enough people playing in the lower brackets of bgs that I'm not sitting in que's all day? Will the xp be enough that I'm not spending a week just to get 1 level? Will I get owned going up agaist premades by joining as group?

It sounds like a good idea just because questing sucks. on the other hand, with 10+ toons, bgs will be very hard (at least for me) unless you just spend time doin AV. I would also try and move to the best server and faction for super xp gaining action :thumbsup:

It really will depend on how much exp u get in a BG. If Blizz wants to allow players to level exclusively with PvP, then it will be comprable to questing. If they just want a little exp to be gained with pvp, and nerf it, then you are probably better off doing 2 5 box teams, one at a time.

Anyone on the PTR able to comment on the amount of exp u get in BGs?

although i play 4 (1 is 80, 3 are 75, Im wating for 3.2 to come out (casual player), I am waiting to level the last 5 levels in BG's to get a load of honor in before i hit 80, so i can buy a decent amount of my welfare epics.

I think this is very plausible, but you gotta remember you will lose a lot of money because the lack of questing, esspecially from 70-80 where you can make 20k total on 5 toons to 80. But if you already have the gold from a 80 or something, then I would do this, because I hate questing, and love pvp. So... why not?

Well I think another problem is going to occur from this rather than xp/hr rates from bgs. If you have 10 toons in WSG, ALL your the toons on your team is in one location. You'd never be able to cap the flag as they could just have someone standing right next to your flag and continuely run it away from you.

In AB having 10 toons in one spot will be great for pushing but that doesn't leave much left to defend the other nodes. You'll probably never really actually cap anything but rather just go from node to node retaking it from the enemy.

In AV it might be okay since with 10 toons you can provide all the dps/healing and if you specced for it, tanking that you need. Although that's not till level 51.

EotS will be about the same as AB, but perhaps a little bit better. Again not till lvl 70.

SotA uses siege vehicles quite a bit, but might not be too bad if the other players get the idea to use the vehicles. Not till lvl 80 though.

Not even sure about the other BGs since I haven't played them.

I think that this could work out pretty well.

WSG I could see winning sometimes if you grab the flag then just kill everyone you see. 7 Corruptions, 7 agonys, and 7 Siphons will drop anyone. If you just keep killing them all the way back to your base they should all be spawned behind you. And if one of them gets around you and grabs the flag, just wait in the middle and kill him when he comes out. If they get it back to their base, take your whole team and just kill your way in slowly. They wont be able to survive your focus fire, eventually they will get frusterated and let you win.

AB and EOTS will be a problem because they are all about zone control, however you will have some other people to help you with these BGs. I think the key would be to quickly cap at least 4 nodes in AB and at least 3 in EOTS, then just kill them at their last spawn point. You will be able to insta dot people to death in 1 or 2 GCDs, so as long as you get in range of runners for a couple seconds they wont make it very far. Again, usually when a team is getting dominated they will all play "defense" at a node they control, even though standing there is guarunteeing their loss. They are afraid to attack and die. So if you can get them to turtle up, you will win. Probably not the ideal BGs, but still doable.

I think Strand would be awesome. You could put a big hurting on the other teams tanks very quickly. And on offense you could kill their guns and anyone who comes close to the tanks you are running with. This BG actaully sounds like the most fun to me.

AV will still be a big stand off, which will be excellent for you. On my battlegroup alliance always runs to the last flag and caps it right away. They don't kill any NPCs or cap any towers. So when I quad-box I run there and kill them all, then retake anything that got capped on my way back north. This forces the stalemate, which we win most of the time. This will be especially true if you have dedicated healers, since you will be dropping people like crazy and hopefully not losing that many. This sounds really fun to me too.

I think that BGs have always been an area that boxers are successful in, this change is going to be great.

I think AV is really your only option. It's hard to win any of the other BG's even just quad boxing.

- In AB, everyone follows you and doesn't defend. You can't really hold a node yourself because they'll run in and pop bloodlust and cooldowns and wipe your little group
- In Eots, every node you take, will be lost as soon as you leave. End of story
- In WSG it's difficult because you have to be both the flag carrier and the guy who gets the flag back. If you carry the flag you'll get owned, if you don't go after their flag, your team wiill never bother to retrieve it, they'll just stand there with your group like you need help
- In Sota, horde have an instant disadvantage, it's possible but again most people will jsut follow you around and there won't be anyone on turrets and you lose.

Of course in AV, horde never wins on reckoning, huge design flaws (no choke point on horde base, wide open alliance towers with los on the archers to interrupt your cap, and the fact that allies can re-cap while standing behind a solid wall). But at least no one expects much. May as well go kill belinda (can 4 man her with shaman) and then cap a mine, and then stick your thumb up your ass for a few minutes while alliance wins
