hmm I actually wrote something but it all get messed up - short version - I made a 5xDK group based on some positive reviews I read about them but noticed that these were from before the last patch when Blood Auras stopped stacking...is the 5xDK group dead now or are people still playing them? I imagine you need a healer now?
Anyway, I took my 5xDK group to the first BC dungeon and it didn't go well...on first trash my main tank survived with 1%! :)
Well... I'd have to say Death Knights have been nerfed several times.
Still, in relation to the rest of the field, they're one of the stronger classes.
I'm not sure if you can go with 5x DK's and no heals.
Gearing is always an issue as well.
5x Elemental Shammies can destroy heroics once their geared a bit.
When they're starting, there's no chance to complete one with a tank type.
With a bit of gear on your team, you'll kill that much faster and live longer.
I cannot say if the 5x DK team is alive or dead.
For pvp's, especially world/battleground, they're powerful especially against casters.
Arena likely not so much.. they're as good as most 5-box / 1 class combo.
5 DK's still will work.
Doing instances I'd spec one Frost, and 4 Blood. WIth the 30 second cooldown 10% group heal (glyphed) and with the MT having 1 point in Rune Tap, you are looking at 50% healing every 30 seconds.
I'm sure it would take practice but doable.
