finally 80 ! (yay!) now what ?
So my 2nd, in order of creation, first in level, team finally made it to 80 (yay!) - but now what ? I promptly created a 5v5 and proceeded to loose 10 matches without being able to even kill a single toon from any of the opposite teams... not too good for morale... then I did WG but lag was so bad I didn't do anything... My gear is blues from quest and blue crafted so I'm not sure what can I do now...

1. Run Wintergrasp every time it's up and you're online. Forget about the lag. Just get in the raid, do the 4 quests (including the collection one after the game) every week. This is the best and easiest way to gear up your characters for pvp, and even some good pve stuff. Bring ALL of your toons, even your tank or whatever. I made the mistake of running just my shaman in WG for 4 months. Now I want my pally in ret gear - she would've been in full hateful/deadly with all the wg trinkets by now, with plenty to spare. But I gotta start from scratch
2. Keep running your 5v5, just /dance if you want, get your 344 points a week, buy a piece of hateful gear every Tuesday. You'll have over 12k honor just from running Wintergrasp once so it won't be a problem.
3. Start doing your dallies every day
4. Buy your epic mounts before anything else. No crafted gear, no gems, no enchants, none of that crap. I learned this the hard way... spent at least 20k first few weeks after hitting 80 to get titansteel guardians and tons of crafted junk. Then I continued to spend every penny on gems, enchants, whatever. 5 months later, I finally have epic flyers, after lots of painful icecrown dallies on fat kid flyers

Awesome post and very helpful. Nice to pass on some of your "learned the hard way" thoughts so we can avoid similar pain!
