Is there any priority for this? Right now I'm using a FTL system and there's so many things id like to use mods for but just can't since im limited by just 3 mods. If you think about it we are losing a TON of different key combinations since we cant use left and right. If I could use Rmod it would be a godsend! I tried hotkeynet and honestly it's way over my head. With those 3 mods keyclone would be almost perfect. (passing mouse is another issue never got that to work right but meh)
I would like to second this. Having left and right modifiers work properly in keymaps would be huge.
Keep in mind Lshift and Rshift work properly, it's just Alt and Ctrl that don't.
L/Rshift works? woohoo that opens up a little bit at least lol. Im pulling hair here trying to get something reasonable to work out with ftl. Not to say that just the normal way isnt reasonable just would like to have more possibilities=)
You can get a single left modifier free if you're running a 5-man.
For example, to get Lshift free use this:
Ctrl-Alt-Rshift
Ctrl-Alt
Ctrl-Rshift
Alt-Rshift
Ctrl
Getting L and R working for ctrl and alt would enable you to have all 3 L modifiers available.
