This along with warriors doing blade fury are the two classes that really piss me off. I don't have the greatest gear (250 res) but the AOE from those abilties eat through 16.5k HP like a hot knife through butter. Please tell me it gets better with ALOT more res?
It does get better and warriors who bladestorm in the arena are ususaly easy targets if you can purge them before they start it. (since they cant spellreflect while spinning)
Im sitting at almost 23k hp unbuffed and 850 resillience but im not gonna lie and say its a walk in the park. 90% of all the 5v5 teams seems to use ret/warrior and the rest seem to be random since it pretty much doesnt matter. Usualy Ret/warrior/destro lock/shaman and priest. First you have to get the bloody kill wich is hard enough then you have to survive all that damage with bloodlust. Remember all meele usualy sit with atleast 25-26k hp unbuffed, and when they decide to use fire res aura or fire res totem things get even harder.
I usualy go for the ret paladin since there is no way to react to 4 flameshocks + 4 lvb that comes instant. There are times that i screw up and its pretty easy to do, and the same tactic never work on the same team twice. However 250 resillience and 16.5k hp is very very low, you will notice difference at 500-600 resillience and 20k hp. However my shamans can outheal a well geare ret paladin who dps my main but with a ms debuff it becomes nearly impossible.
Im not 100% sure but alot of the burst seems to come from Exorcism and the plan is to nerf it, but how far is 3.1.2 away? Also blizzard finally seem to admit that Elemental damage is buggy, wich leads to lot of problems when im dealing the killing blow with LvB.
According to Mmo-champion there are quote from blue posts that they are looking at ret paladins burst damage.

I feel the main problem is that its to easy to deal shit loads of damage, my mate played retadin fine with a macro that spammed divine storm and crusader strike. Now all he had to do was trow HoP on me and HoF on himself, with randoms HoJs and repentance when he was out of range. Im not gonna say it a easy class to play but it seriously cant see a difference on a skilled ret paladin and a bad one it all seems to be gear to them. Unlike a hunter skilled hunter who seem to be able to avoid it all with FD,deterrance, NE racial.
Once you start matching up with teams 1400+ rating prepare to get aoe to death. PVP in wotlk is no fun for us boxers. The glory days of BC are over. Everything is nothing but an aoe fest. What really makes me laugh is when all my guys get frozen and aoe because they have 1 or 2 dk's using that freeze ability. You can trinket it if you have not already used your trinket. If they have two dk's gg. You can pretty much die from aoe before the iceblock drops.
Yes, lost at least 5 matches to a 4 melee team the other night - two ret paladins, DK, and rogue, and holy paladin. Both ret paladins bubble at start, dk pops anti-magic shell, rogue uses cloak. Impossible to do any significant amount of magic damage for several seconds. Whole team is dead before bubbles wear off. Holy paladin bubbles if I so much as put a flame shock on her. Don't think I killed anyone on that team.
Another team, caught the feral in stealth with a earthbind totem - instant kill. One trick pony warrior spins around and cuts entire team to 35% hp in a few seconds (20.5k hp 730 resil). Then him and one other dps picked em off easily.
Anyone got a good macro for an instant Flame Shock/LVB combo? I can't seem to nail one down without using two buttons.

People ususaly die but it isnt a 100% and if i fail i ususaly cant recover so im most likley going over to this one: (adding cl and another flameshock) With the shock glyph wich reduce my shocks Global Cooldown to 0.5 second i have yet to see a mage ice block it or a ret bubble it. 90% of the teams always monitor my mains target and los/hot/shield according to that and this macro avoid targeting and the burst can come whenever i want all i need is 0.5 seconds. However i ALWAYS purge a random target before i use it since i dont want my LvB ending in a grounding totem and be sure your shocks arent on cool down when you use it since it will stop and wait for flame shock! :)

Yes i have to wait for the last flame shock and frost shock does more damage but lacks the range flame shock got. Purge to clear the grounding totem, and the nice thing about chain lightning is that it ignores grounding totem.
I do have a purge focus macro but i rarley use it since i ususaly tend to be stressed, and more key binds means that its easier to screw up.

This one is nice since you can keep changing targets and flame shocking them to force them using cool downs.
My problem isnt realy getting the first kill but getting the 2nd kill actually so atm im considering to try and stall my EM for the second kill since once EM is blown teams seems to go all out. But as long as i keep running into heavy meele combos with 3 meeles its not gonna be easy at all. Kinda boring since i faced the rank 1 team wich is from my server and i got theyr warrior down two matches and the mage survived with 200 hp the same two matches! (QQ would have won with the deadly gloves and ny new 20 spell penetration gems im buying) I talked with the warrior and he said that to them it was not realy a problem getting to the top. They run War,Ele shaman,Frost mage,disc priest and holy paladin.
There are however no way im going to beat warrior,ret,ret,rogue + resto shaman any time close... Its not all IMPOSSIBLE thought i have had a very few wins with rotation thunderstorm and killing the healer very early, drop fire nova totems and magma totems and pray that you can heal trought it.
Does this macro allow you to instant EM/LvB your current target if you never set your focus?
