I have been pondering about dropping AS on my shamans......I know crazy right!?! Hear me out.


With the fear nerf (breaking on hardly any dmg at all) and the ability to TS while stunned. What purpose does AS serve now? If taking 30% less dmg while feared? Why would you want to do that when its going to break quickly anyways. Stunned by a rogue? Alot of the stuns are going to be on the same DR level. TS! glyphed its at 38s . I just dont see stuns being that big of a deal anymore.

I am going to try it by putting points else where. Maybe I will fail but I am going to try. ^^

I would still keep it -- it's not just fear and stun but also silence.

As alliance, silence is a big deal with that bullshit blood elf racial (aoe silence) -- that's my biggest bane at the moment -- right before a critical chain heal or lava burst goes off, all of the sudden I'm shut down by a single blood elf.

Thunderstorm > Frost Shock > Stoneclaw > Earthbind is going to pwn rogues in any situation 1v1. By the time he blows either his CloSkill or Vanish you have him in anothe rfrost shock and a poison totem down kiting him like a mad man till your next Earthbind where he will have to sit there like a retard or blow the REST of his cooldowns just to catch you, when you can probably TS him again after an absorbed stun (from stoneclaw) and then drop another earthbind XD

Instant cast Lvb will help with silence, since your macro will have FS/EM/LvB so you wont need to be worried about your main dmg being silenced.

AS doesnt stop your heals being silenced, the 30% may allow you to get another chance at getting that heal off. Meh not sure its worth it since I would have probably ended up dead anyways at that point.

I just dont think its worth 3 points anymore, not worried bout melee at all anymore
