Gnomish Lightning Generator now deals 1530 to 1870 damage. (Down from 2610 to 3190)
They should give everyone pvp toys or dont allow them at all. Its was just a matter of time before the QQ boiled over into a nerf. No way I will keep them over a reg tirnket now, just not worth it. I think I will just go back to my old professions and call it a day. I would keep eng if I thought that one day when there is rated BGs etc. that they wont nerf bombs/mines. I have learned my lesson.
Even still X4 of those is like 7-8k damage off the GCD with a 1 sec cast time. Still very nice IMO

Here are some of the 3.1 changes for engineering so far:

- Added a new Reticulated Armor Webbing engineering enchant that increases the armor on plate gloves.
- Added a new Springy Arachnoweave engineering enchant that grants passive spell power in addition to turning your cloak into a parachute.
- Flexweave Underlay now grants passive agility in addition to its normal effect.
- Nitro Boosts now grant passive critical strike rating in addition to their speed boost.
The list may not be conclusive and is subject to change over the course of the public testing process.

The burst was higher than we wanted, we lowered the burst but put passive crit on the item.
