Why are they closing down? Lack of funds or did they get sued?

Lack of funds it seems.

It is not April yet.

They closed down the community part already (forums). Also they sent to various news site the closing part. And yet, they close on 30 march not even in april. Who'll live, will see.

I'm moderately annoyed they're trying to blame it on the financial crisis. I'd say their business model and lack of competitiveness when it comes to alternatives such as bittorrent, rapidshare, and youtube has more to do with their shut down than the seizing of credit markets or conservative consumer spending.

I second that. Also, if you did take a look, you can't see any paypal donations or "slow" and "fast" account with free and premium accounts.

They didn't even try to keep it up.

Well, they kept it up till now. But i think that they could have popped some ads around the pages in all those years.

So, any good alternatives to where to upload 200mb+ sized videos without big restrictions? :whistling:
