Why am I getting steamrolled? (Video)

Here's a quick video of my losses (and some wins)... what the hell am I doing wrong? Seems like when the group charges me and I can't think quick enough, I get owned hardcore.

Maybe I can get some insight on what I should or shouldn't be doing by some of you looking at the fail in action.

http://www.em-zero.com/why.zip (Sorry, I zipped it. On NTFS the filesize actually shrunk by ~200MiB. Then when I uploaded it via FTP to my host (ext3?), it was like 3MiB smaller than the original WMV. *shrug* No clue what went on here!)

Playing 5 shamans aint really duable, you need a healer that can stay away from you so he dont get all those AOE effects on him and AOE silences and warstomp, good players always use that and theirfore you cant beat the horde team your faceing, simply because you dont have a chance to avoid their aoe effects... so go down to 4 shamans and 1 paladin as healer that can keep you up, also you should move away from that aoe people do on you.. you simply cant stand still and do nothing, you gotta learn when to move and when to actually do dmg, I see your trying to burst all the time, you should not be doing that, you should rather perfect your damage so you know the target will die when u do damage

The team your winning over is an alliance team, they dont got any aoe effects they dont got huge aoe and the players really sucked, i mean i bet even some 2v2 teams could outplay that 5v5

Horde teams: you should be way more deffensive and aware of aoe effects
Ally team: Dont be affraid of them, keep down your groundings and focus your dps and perfect it

1: Don´t play 5 you need a guy to be away from you so he dont get AOE effects on the same time as you do (full holy paladin with bacon is imba)
2: Perfect your damage, dont start up think you can blow everyone down
3: Move and protect yourself, you should be much more deffensive
4: You need to find good places in each map, the places you stand in are clearly not good for boxers in nagrand arena you stand right outside, you should move to the invisible detection thingy and hug the walls in there so people cant run around you
in dalaran arena you started out on the right place. Blade edges arena you stand just outside again, you should only stand there if the team rush you but if you got any chance you should move up on the bridge
5: You should not be placeing Grounding totems in a different order you gotta place them all at same time as the first totem you place, so the cooldown can go away as fast as possible so you can place a new set of them.

Yep, the 5 shaman era died for both pvp and pve at the launch of WoTLK. Otherwise - sound advice.

what selz says, because every body can see that you lost 3 times the same way: the charge in warstomp+aoe silnce+aoe fear and you lost 3 chars before you ware out of that, just spred and move away of aoe dmg\cc

also, the fight that was on 14:00 .. where you won, you had it before during the clip lol ._.

And yeah, 5 shaman combo aint that viable, as the healing stress got nudged up 500 times more from tbc.

Improved Fire Nova Totem imo. Having an AOE 2 second stun is really handy :P If you time it right you can stop them before they get to setup their aoe/silence etc. Make sure thunderstorm is setup to be used one at a time (round robin) and all at once. Being able to smack people away while stunned (as fursphere said) is really going to help you.

Positioning needs to be looked at. And you really need to spread out more. (As others have stated, just backing them up hehe)

Pretty much just practice.
