What a difference this made once I finally put spell piercing on my cloak. I only have 45 spell pen (wanna bump it up to 55 or 65) but the difference is huge. It's so nice to finally see 8k lava bursts on death knights and mages.. not to mention decent numbers on warlocks and anyone with imp mark fo the wild
I'm at 85, it is almost required to have about 80+ I use some of my gem slots for the +20 spell pen because Mark of the Wild by itself is 76 resists and Mages can get up to 130 to all.
Going back to spell pierce after having haste for ages, def trowing in a spell piercing gem once i get rid of the savage gear..
Getting pvp hit capped felt more important to me thought.. seeing MISS is def the worst case scenario for me.
yeah spell penetration is relly good in arena, if you have ever played a mage vs warlock at 60 or 70 you know who hard that was, but adding some spell penetration changed the outcome for sure, try to watch this http://www.wow-annexe.fr/voirvideoj.php?id=328 after about 4 mins into the movie he adds eye of moam, and blasts a felhunter in 2 sec
interesting, when did they change this stat from "slightly worthless" to "needed"? Im guessing this is only for pvp? I thought that the cloak enchant was all you needed.
All I have on my pvp team is the cloak enchant and it seems to do the job.Quote:
