4 shammies + one?

Hi again gang, Its been a while since i've posted here.
My 4 man shammies team is going well, into their late twenties now,, however i keep changing my 5th main toon,, I'm not sure what class to make him.

Basically i started out with a Mage as my main, for AOE nukes and general mage goodies, but i soon found out that Mage as main = agro control problems = many deaths, SO i moved on to a tauran druid.

having the druid as the main works very well, as he can tank and keep agro in a pinch + it gives me the versetility to be able to spec him moonkin or even healer later on if i need to..

My only concern is how good are druids in heroics and late lvl instances in holding the agro on many multiple mobs.. I don't want to continue leveling the team without being sure i've made the right choice..

I've been toying with the idea of swaping in a pally, for their Uber AOE agro management.. i forsee the situation where in end game instance i would have the pally engage the mobs and keep agro on as many mobs, while my shammies easily DPS the whole lot down, Vuola no proble..

Can the Druid tankadin do that?...what about a moonkin as main.. awsome dps and high amor, might work?

I would apreciate any feedback on this, as i have never actually played a char at high level before, so i'm a little out of my depth here on different toon strengths..

PS. i really dont want a fifth shammies, but might consider a warrior..

for PvE go with a Prot Paladin, it really is that simple ;-)

I've played around with all three and the Paladin wins as a tank for multi-boxing for the following reasons: It's extremely simple, there is no stance or shape shifting issues, no issues building rage, not as gear dependent as a Warrior, excellent aoe threat generation and can heal himself without becoming squishier like a Druid.

Moonkin can tank in the sense that with the proper gear and the armor bonus from Moonkin form they can take a good beating. But Moontankin is laborious and more trouble than it's worth imo.

A feral Druid is pretty easy to tank with, you just swipe, swipe, swipe and swipe some more throwing in mauls when you have the rage plus lacerate and mangle spam. The one advantage a Druid has when combined with Shaman is travel form, but we get it 10 levels after shaman at 30 and it would only be useful for 10 levels anyway.

In conclusion: Paladin best overall multi-box tank, followed by Feral Druid followed by Warrior.

I have 4 shamans, and I swap between my warrior and my paladin for tanking.

The warrior seems to take less damage, hold better single target aggro.

The paladin benefits from ALL of my totem buffs, holds better aoe aggro.

I just finished ZF with 1 pally 4 shaman, and I've also got some videos up of SM/RFK. I have clips I have to put together for an old RFD run, and my ZF run. I accidentally leveled out of the Ulda range after 2.3 hit. :P

As much as it pains me to say, I would strongly consider a loladin or 5th shammy over warrior in most situations.

I find my paladin has more synergy with the shammies than the war, but since I already have a 70 resto shammy I was more concerned with getting a tank -- any tank -- to 70.

Now that I think it over, a feral druid would have probaby been best, given that you can just respec moonkin for PvP and swipe (hits 3 targets) hits the same number of targets as chain lightning.
