tournoment vs. real pvp

Hey, I have a pretty old computer but it has some upgrades. I am able to run smoothly in all instances and a little bumpy in cities. I am wondering how bad pvp is going to be. So, I signed up for the arena tournoment x4, to see if the arenas would be laggy, and they are not at all. I am at 1640 atm woot!. But I am wondering how this compares to arenas in the real servers, and BG's thanks!.

I can only imagine it would be the same since the TR and live realms are running the same patch. Perhaps the latency differs on live because there's more server is the battlegroup but I don't really know. :P
